Responsibilities:
- Review data provided by merchants for accuracy and conformity to our specifications
- Use proprietary tools to implement and organize merchant data into our system
- Maintain positive relations with merchants, including offering suggestions for optimization of data
- Proactively contact merchants to offer assistance creating and submitting data for inclusion in the search engine
- Recommend improvements on merchant's product listings for a better over-all consumer experience
- Ensure quality and accuracy of existing site content
- Provide telephone and e-mail support to merchants/clients
- Excellent attention to detail
- Familiar with major online shopping sites
- Excellent Internet research skills
- Knowledge of Internet/Web technologies; web browsers, HTTP, FTP, and HTML
- Knowledge of database programs - expertise with FoxPro and/or SQL Server a plus
- Familiarity with Perl
- Team player who can work independently with minimal supervision
